Abstract

The purpose of this study to know the description of the factors that affect the present of immunization in children under five years old in Community Health Center Kasihan 1 Bantul working area in April 2010. This research uses descriptive quantitative research design using descriptive methods, and conducted in April 2010. The sampling technique using simple random sampling, with a totaly sample of 103 respondents. Collecting data using questionnaires. Data were analyzed using descriptive frequencies with percentages techniques. The results showed that number of children under five years old care for mothers < 2 kids are 92 respondents (89.3%). Health condition of children under five years old immunized by the mother of all in healthy conditions (100%). Knowledge of mothers about immunization being the 69 th most respondents (67.0%). Most mothers do not work a number of 70 respondents (68.0%). Mother education most was the 72 respondents (69.9%). Most mothers receive good support in immunization 99 respondents (96.1%). The majority out earnings have < Rp. 750 000 Responden (68.9%). Mother most never get the extension of immunization of 85 respondents (82.5%). Distance house to puskesmas of 57 respondents (55.3%) was close. Health services 18 respondents (17.5%) adequate. It is hoped that the other researchers could examine by considering disturbed variables, other variable can affect immunizations and observe than in longer time.
