Abstract

Studi ini berusaha menganalisis tentang representasi ketidakadilan gender di pesantren yang tersaji dalam film Perempuan Berkalung Sorban. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui representasi ketidakadilan gender di pesantren terutama tentang stereotype dan diskriminasi terhadap perempuan pesantren. Kerangka teori dalam penelitian ini menggunakan komunikasi sebagai proses produksi makna, konstruksi realitas sosial, film sebagai sistem representasi, ketidakadilan gender serta stereotyp
