ANALISIS FOKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI TINGKAT PENDAPATAN PEKERJA WANITA DI SEKTOR INFORMAL

Has become common thet people choose to work from his education at the college due to the cost of education. The problem being the biggest reason for people to choose to work in the informal sectors, they don’t require to heave a high level education and flexible hours working. Many workers in the informal sector are flexible working or women with different background. This is evidenced by the number of women workers in the informal sector lately with a nominal 10 % more women than men. This study aims to determine whether the level of education, years worked, age, type of work, hours of work, and type of industry affects the level of income in the informal sector women workers in household industries and food processing industries in the province of DIY. The research was conducted in five cities and countries in the province that includes crafts DIY nature Sentolo Kulon Progo, craft wooden was Bobung Gunungkidul, Sleman Brajan bamboo crafts, wood crafts Krebet Bantul batik, batik handicraft Kotagede, Eggroll Ubi Ungu Sasha industry, and Bakpiapia Djogdja industry. The method ised is the method of interviews with 150 respondents to obtain primary data with a proportional stratified random sampling method while processing data using ordinary least square method. The result showed that the level education, past work, hours of work and type of industry influence on the level of income in the informal sector workers in each industry and the domestic food processing industry in the province of DIY.
