HUBUNGAN PERSEPSI KELUARGA TERHADAP STIGMA MASYARAKAT DENGAN PERILAKU PERAWATAN PADA ANGGOTA KELUARGA GANGGUAN JWA DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS MLATI II KABUPATEN SLEMAN TAHUN 2014

Background: Mental disorder ia a disorder which iffend mind, feeling and behavior which not apporiate like a human as be, so that it can distrub daily funcional in individual life as a individu in social. Public have a opinion which not apropriate with the condition of mental disorder, related with the cause and the symptom of mental disorder. A negatif perseption in a public as known as stigma can make individu with a mental diorder have a discrimination and also can expel from environment and family. Family don’t want ti give a comprehensif treatment to family member with mental illness. The comprehensif family behavioral treatment is such as give a medication, good nutrision, help to fullfil a activity dailiy, give a support, and also change a maladaptive behavior, that all can make a better condition of individual with mental disorder Aim : to identify and known the corelattion between Public Stigma and Family Behavioral Treatment Who Have A Family Member with Mental Diorder. Result : responden give a family behavioral treatment with a good criteria is 52% and enough behavioral treatment is 75 %. And get a stigma from public is high 68%, and mild 32% Conclusion: In this research show that there is no corelation betweeen public stigma and family behavioral treatment who have a family member with mental diorder, that because p value 0,069 or p>0,05. The suggestion for next researcher is to analyze futher factor which can affect the public stigma and the family behavioral treatment such as: labelling, and culture.
