HUBUNGAN BERAT BADAN TERHADAP HIPERTENSI DAN PENGARUH SENAM BUGAR DALAM PENURUNAN TEKANAN DARAH PADA LANSIA

Hypertension can occur from a variety of factors, among which are life style and diet. Hypertension can also occur due to obstruction in an artery and muscle weakness of the heart to pump blood. The cause of it all can be prevented by exercising regularly both as a youth to old age. Sports and exercise regularly movement to tackle the problem due to changes in bodily functions. This study aims to determine the relationship of body weight on the incidence of hypertension in the elderly as well as the effect of exercise on Body weight in shape and blood pressure of elderly in Panti Wredha Budi Dharma. This study is observational analytic approach observational analytic numeric methods (categorical-numeric and categorical-categorical) with a correlation research design. The results of the analysis of the relationship of systolic and diastolic pressure with weight gained elderly p = 0.149 or p> 0.05 and p = 0.530 or p> 0.05. Results of the analysis of the average systolic and diastolic blood pressure before exercise was p = 0.044 or p <0.05 and p = 0.485 or p> 0.05 . It can be concluded that there is no significant correlation of blood pressure in the elderly with severe badan.Terdapat significant differences in systolic blood pressure in older adults after doing gymnastics elderly fit and there is no significant difference in diastolic blood pressure in older adults after doing gymnastics fit elderly or not there is a significant decrease the diastolic blood pressure
