This Study is acknowledge the impact from special autonomy toward diminish the poverty. Aceh special autonomy had been design for Aceh reconstruction. Post conflict and tsunami that destroyer Aceh Province. From the political and social development side that had been caused the incrased of proverty population problem. special autonomy is a solution from social and poverty problem in Aceh Province . to reach the target, this research used asymmetric decentralization theory to showed the implementation of decentralization. At province level appropriate with local wisdom to solve social problem and decrease the poverty. This study used descriptive and qualitativeapproach.That aims to explain the special autonomy impact toward the decrease of poverty. Pass through depth interview and documents. This research founded that special autonomy in Aceh Province had been walked as long as 9 years is not gived the significant result. BPS showed at 2008 Aceh economy is not growed by significant. According PDRB the constant value show economy acehtaked down. The PDRB slope by the constant value moved paradox with the number of worker absorption. It can press the number of poverty in Aceh. BPS Aceh record in 2008 the number of poverty can slope in the amount of 23,53 % from at 2006 in the amount 28,28 % far from national in the amount 15,42 %. However in 2014 the number of poverty in Aceh. Straight away slopein the amount of 11,25%. In period of 2008-2014, the number of poverty populationin Aceh taked down until 9%or reach more than 400.000 people.Thepoverty populationmore than lived in the rural. Just than the urbane. in. 2008 the number of poverty populationfrom rural area in the amount 864.900 people or 79,81% from total the poverty populationfrom urbane. thepoverty populationfrom urbanein the amount 218.800 people or 20,19 %.
