Abstract
This research was done to identify the influences of organization commitment and the work involvement towards the auditor's work achievement: auditor's work satisfaction as intervening variable. The rcscarch was conducted in the financial control board office of BPK-RI repmsentative in Yogyakarta on August 8, 2006. the analysis unit and respondents in this research were the auditors working in BPK representative in Yogyakarta. The sample collecting lechnique in the research was purposive sampling which was the auditor's working in BPK representative in Yogyakarta with minimum work of 1 year. The data collecting method used was the questionnaires replicated from Trisnaningsih 2003 and Istijanto 2005. The result of the research showed that organization commitment and work involvement influenced the auditor's work satisfaction partially; the organization commitment and work involvement influenced the auditor's work satisfaction simultaneously; the organization commitment, work involvement, and auditor's work satisfaction influenced auditor's work achievement partially; the organization commitment, work involvement, and auditor's work satisfaction influenced auditor's work achievement simultaneously; and the correlation between the organization commitmcnt and work involvcmcnt towards thc work achievement was mediated with the work satisfaction.
