Abstract
After implementation of legislation number 22 in 1999, district is a working area for Camat (chief of district) as local officer of municipal or regency. By this meaning, if it is known that district is not more a part of administration area of both government chief of district, not regional chief who has authority as regional leader. In this change, of course it will influence to the given organizational climate in district office of Galur in which it then will influence to employee's performance. This research aimed to know effect of organizational climate and role conflict simultaneously and partially on employee's performance and to know which dominant variable influenced on employee's performance in district office of Galur, Kulon Progo. Instrumen of research tested in each variable used a validity and reliability test. And, analysis tool used in this research was multiple regress ion analysis. Based on result of the research, it could be concluded that: 1) Result of simultaneous test described that organizational climate influenced significantly on employee's performance, so that result of analysis supported this hypothesis. 2) From result of t-test, it showed that variable of organizational climate had significant influence on employee's performance. 3) variable of role conflict had an influence on employee's performance. 4) based on regression analysis, it showed that organizational climate factor more dominantly influenced on employee's performance.
