Abstract

This research will try to describc about public rclations strategy that used by UPIK for socializing its servic,c access for Yogyakarta society. The objective of this research is to know what kind of strategy that used by UP1K to socialize its service access to Yogyakarta society in order it can support them to use UP1K servicc. The theorctical frarnework that used is public relations strategy that implemented in govemment program. This research uscs method of casc study. Research result cxplains that UPIK has used some strategics to socialize its service access for Yogyakarta society. They are persuasive and educative strategy and cooperation. The real activitics that have done arc with approach society mcdia usc for socializing, internal coordination and cooperation with stakeholdcrs and actualize message from people, in fact this can help UPIK more to apply socialization proccss. Lack of controlling fmm executor in each activity irnplementation, less of budgct that provided and lack of human resources quality so intluence toward the success of strategy implementation that apparently do not have rise of massage number in 2007. but in the level response aspect of SKPD in 2007 reach improving 11,24% in 2007.
