ANALISIS ISI KECENDERUNGAN BERITA KESEHATAN PADA SURAT KABAR HARIAN KEDAULATAN RAKYAT PERIODE JULI-DESEMBER 2007

This study tried to analyze the news content of health puhlished by Kedaulatan Rakyal daily newspaper since on July until December 2007. Purpose of this reseamh is describing about trend of health ncws on Kedatdatan Rakyat daily newspaper on July • December 2007. Ilealth is tools for daily living productively and need effective and elficient approach to communicate health message. Newspaper is the good way for disseminating of informations and spreading of attitudes. Millenium Development Goals (MDGs) is the global commitment as govemment grasps to solve problems, include hezIth. On the illustration above, emerge the hypothesis that hcalth news on Kedaulatan Rakyat daily newspaper is proning to non MDGs topic and not to be media agenda. Framework theory in this research cause by news on newspaper is mass communication media which connected from agenda setting. This research used quantitative methodology to analyze the news content of health news based on particular categories, which primer data took from literature study and etc. Population of research is all health news by simple random sampling. Analysis unit of this rest.rch is presentation technique and news content. Whereas data analysis technique is descriptive by using such as: data collection, data rcduction, reliability and generalities. The results of research show that Kedaulatan Rakyat daily newspaper in reporting health news didn't eminent topic or being media agenda. Not only non MDGs topic (63%) bixame topic eminently than MDGs topic (37%), it shows that Ilo is acceptable. It's scems from the result of frequency at health category that show the fact. Writer also found that government using curative aspect to solvc hcalth problems, which government effort to emphasize prcvcntivc aspects.
