Abstract

The establishment of Asian Infrastructure Invetment Bank (AIIB) by the
Chinese government has become one of the most-interesting issues since the end of
2013. Countries from Asia reacted positively toward the establishment and decided to
join the multilateral development bank later on. Moreover, some of non-Asian
countries were also captivated by the diplomacy of Chinese government related to the
AIIB and decided to join the bank as well. UK is one of them. Eventhough UK got
negative reactions from its closest friend which is the USA, the UK government
persistently decided to become the very first G7 member joining the AIIB.
