Abstract
Blood sample / plasma incubation is the process of maintaining or treating the condition
of the sample / blood plasma with a certain temperature and time to monitor the
development and growth process of the sample / blood plasma. One of the medical
equipment that has an important role in the field of incubation is the Microplate Incubator.
Where this tool functions to process the incubation of samples / blood plasma in the clinical
examination process or the completeness of the photometer, immunology, and others.
Meanwhile, before the incubation process, blood was drawn from the patient first. Then it
is processed in a centrifuge for a certain time, after the time is reached, take blood plasma
(clear liquid) with a micropipette and then mix it with a blank solution (aquadest). Then
input it into the incubator microplate for the incubation process of the blood sample /
plasma. Then it will be processed on the Photometer and the results will be known. Based
on the above, the writer tries to make a tool with the title "Microplate Incubator based on
the AT-Mega 8535 Microcontroller". Where this tool is very important as a place for
incubating samples before processing on the photometer.
