PROGRAM DAN STRATEGI PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT PADA MAJELIS PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT(MPM) PP MUHAMMADIYAH (Studi Kasus: Jamaah Tani Jrakah Boyolali Dan Tirtosari Magelang)

The purpose of this study is to find out about the implementation of programs and
strategies in community empowerment conducted by Muhammadiyah Central Leadership
Community Empowerment Council (MPM PP) in Jrakah, Boyolali and Tirtosari Villages,
Magelang. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection
techniques such as observation, interviews, documentation and analysis tools used in the
form of source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the program conducted
by MPM PP Muhammadiyah on Groups Of Farmers in Jrakah Village and Tirtosari
Village have been implemented with mentoring, training, and cooperation in capital
support and participation. The obstacle in implementing this program is the traditional
mindset of the community, lack of willingness of farmers to apply what they got through
training and mentoring independently, the community expects an instant way and has high
expectations, and a lack of community's independence or the community dependence on
