STRATEGI DAKWAH KOMUNITAS ( STUDI KASUS ORGANISASI MASYARAKAT HAMKA DARWIS YOGYAKARTA)

Islam is a religion of Da'wa (preaching) which always encourages its
adherents to always be active in conducting da'wa activities. As time goes by, in the
modern era, da’wa has been very developed and varied, not only conducted on the
pulpit and inside the mosque. One of the methods of da'wa that is often found in
society today is community or organizational da’wa. Hamka Darwis Yogyakarta
Community Organization, which is still under the auspices of a political party, is
taking part in the struggle for Islamic da'wa by conducting social tadarus (reading
and studying Al-Qur’an) activities community. The research, entitled The Strategy
of Community Da'wa (A Case Study of Hamka Darwis Community Organization)
aimed at describing the da'wa strategy conducted by Hamka Darwis Yogyakarta
Community Organization. This study also aimed at explaining the supporting and
inhibiting factors in the implementation of da’wa by Hamka Darwis Yogyakarta
Community Organization. The research is a field research using a qualitative
approach method. The data collection techniques are observation, interviews and
documentation. The results of this study indicate that Hamka Darwis Yogyakarta
Community Organization uses three da'wa strategies in conducting its activities,
namely sentimental strategy (al-manhaj al-'athifi), rational strategy (al-manhaj al-
'aqli), and sensory strategy (al-manhaj al- hissi). The supporting factor is that the
obstacles to the implementation of da'wa have begun to decrease, that is the large
number of human resources. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor is that there are still
many suspicions from the people outside the community, the fact that the community
cannot be separated from the identity of the political party and the search for the
identity of the members.
