Abstract

ABSTRAK
Tugas akhir ini membahas nilai kekuatan tarik dan massa jenis (densitas) dari komposit hybrid yang di hasilkan dari perpaduan serat gelas dan serat karbon dengan metode vacuum infusion. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk diaplikasikan pada blade turbin savonius.
Komposit Hybrid dibuat dengan metode vaccum infusion dengan variasi susunan serat Acak (AC), Anyam (AN), 1C 4Ac (1 carbon 4 Acak), 1C 4AN (1 carbon 4 Anyam), 2C 3AC (2 carbon 3 Acak), 2C 3AN (2 carbon 3 Anyam), dengan instalasi 1 in, 2 out. Menggunakan resin polyester Yucalac 157 BQTN-LA. Spesimen di buat dengan standart ASTM D-3039
Hasil pengujian Tarik terbaik di dapat pada variasi 3 Anyam 2 Carbon (2C3AN) dengan nilai tertinggi yaitu 220,5 Mpa, Modulus Elastis 6,8 Gpa dan densitas 1,44 g/cm3
