Abstract

*190 This article is about the raising of the territorial dispute between Spain and Morocco particularly over the Parsley Island dispute in 2002. This is also analysing about its settlement process between both parties through mediation process. It will start with emphasizing the beginning of the case triggered by both parties in purpose to protect their security, and their sovereignty. Furthermore, it will examine the United States roles which gets involved in that case and acts as the mediator in order to mediate the conflicting parties to find peace settlement until the conflicting parties achieve agreements especially in order to improving their relation in the future.
