Abstract

At the moment there are still plenty of fossil fuels used to produce electricity, where is the fuel if it continued to be used will be exhausted and hard to update. Based on these problems then it needs to be done of making renewable energy power plant with power generation from natural sources and can be updated as the soliztionfrom the exhaustion offossil fuels. So in this study proposed the design of the system of PLTH (wind-PI9. On the design of this PLTH system, the author uses software version 2.68 HOMER. From the design of the system of PLTH (Wind-PV) is performed in Pedukuhan XIII Sidorejo, Desa Banaran, Kecamatan Galur, Kulon Progo, Daerah Istimewah Yogyakarta, From the design of the system of PLTH (wind-PIO is pezformed, the obtained simulation results indicate that the overall contribution of PLTB 16%, PLTS 56%, and by PLN 28% as helpers and backing up the system. From the side of the service load PLTH have been able to fu f 1 them, this is evidenced by the presence of excess energy produced. Where the energy can be sold to PLN and the excess can be stored in the battery. With the investment costs of $ 355,591 and age 25 year project, at the got profits of $ 540,435 with a surplus each year $ 40,666. as for the cost of returning the investment initiaIly in need of time for 11.7 years.
