Persepsi Mahasiswa Semester VI dan VIII Program Studi Ilmu Keperawatan Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Terhadap Entrepreneurship

INTISARI

Enterpreneurship atau kewirausahaan adalah usaha kreatif yang dibangun
berdasarkan inovasi untuk menghasilkan sesuatu yang baru, memiliki nilai
tambah, memberi manfaat, menciptakan lapangan kerja dan hasilnya berguna bagi
orang lain (Soegoto, 2009). Sebagai mahasiswa keperawatan yang merupakan
calon perawat profesional yang berperan sebagai care giver, manajer dan
kolaborator perlu mengenal dan memiliki jiwa entrepreneurship untuk
melaksanakan fungsi dan perannya secara optimal dalam mengembangkan profesi
perawat ke depan.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross
sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Program Studi Ilmu Keperawatan Fakukltas
Kedokteran dan Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Teknik
pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling, jumlah sampel yang diambil
adalah 120 responden Mahasiswa aktif semester VI dan VIII. Instrumen yang
digunakan adalah kuesioner cheklist untuk mahasiswa yang menjadi responden,
Uji analisis statik yang digunakan adalah bivariat analisis.

Secara keseluruhan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi
mahasiswa program studi ilmu keperawatan UMY adalah baik yaitu sebanyak 88
(73,3”9), cukup 30 responden (25 Yo) dan kurang 2 responden (1,7Y0). Kesimpulan
penelitian menunjukkan hasil bahwa mahasiswa keperawatan UMY memiliki
jiwa entrepreneurship yang cukup baik. Tinggal mereka meningkatkan
pengalaman dan terus mengasah keberanian. Mereka juga harus lebih yakin lagi
dalam bertindak dan juga terus belajar. Kesuksesan selangkah lagi mereka raih,
tinggal kemantapan tekad untuk meraihnya.

ABSTRACT

Entrepreneurship is a creative endeavor that builds on innovation to produce
something new, value-added, giving the benefits, create jobs and results are useful for
others (Soegoto, 2009). As a nursing student who is a candidate for professional nurses
who act as care giver, managers and collaborators need to know and have the
entrepreneurial spirit to implement an optimal function and its role in developing the
nursing profession forward.

The research is descriptive with cross sectional approach. The research was
done in Nursing Science Programs Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta. The
sampling method uses purposive sampling. The sample obtained as 120 respondent 's
active student semester IV and VIII. The instruments used are checklist guestionnaire for
people as respondents. The statistic test is univariate analysis.

The result of this research shows the perception of nursing Science students
Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta are good category 88 respondents (73.326),
mediocre category 30 respondenis (256) and less good category 2 respondenis (1. 798).
Conclusion the results showed that nursing science students Muhammadiyah University
of Yogyakarta has good entrepreneurial spirit. It's just that their lives improve the
experience and continue to hone courage. They also have to be more confident again in
the act and also to keep learning. The success they achieved one step further, stay
stability determination to achieve it.
