Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Pelaksanaan Komunikasi Terapeutik Di RS PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul

INTISARI

Komunikasi terapeutik merupakan hal yang sangat pokok dalam asuhan keperawatan,
yang berguna untuk memperoleh informasi yang akurat, membina hubungan baik dengan
klien dan keluarga, serta memfasilitasi proses penyembuhan, untuk itu perawat perlu
memperhatikan faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi pelaksanaan komunikasi antara
perawat dengan klien agar komunikasi dapat efektif dan berjalan optimal sehingga tujuan
keperawatan dapat tercapai.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang dapat
mempengaruhi pelaksanaan komunikasi terapeutik di bangsal kelas III RS PKU
Muhammadiyah Bantul Yogyakarta.

Metode Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan desain cross sectional
Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 22 orang mengunakan teknik total sampling.
Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data dilakukan
dengan menggunakan Analisis Univariate (Analisis Deskriptif).

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa perawat PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul yang
memilih faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pelaksanaan komunikasi terapeutik sebagai
berikut: faktor perkembangan (77,390) faktor persepsi (72,79), faktor nilai (10090), faktor
emosi (63,6Y9), Faktor jenis kelamin (68,26) faktor pengetahuan (10096), faktor peran dan
hubungan (72,790), faktor jarak (54,590), faktor yang dianggap cukup mempengaruhi dalam
pelaksanaan komunikasi terapeutik adalah faktor lingkungan (5096) faktor latar belakang
sosial dan kultural (40,946).

Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah rata-rata faktor-faktor komunikasi terapeutik
mayoritas mempengaruhi pelaksanaan komunikasi terapeutik di bangsal kelas III di RS PKU
Muhammadiyah Bantul. Saran yang ditunjukan kepada pihak rumah sakit untuk mengadakan
pelatihan dan training tentang komunikasi terapeutik dalam tindakan keperawatan dan
memberikan motivasi dalam pelaksanaan komunikasi terapeutik kepada perawat di rumah
sakit.

ABSTRACT

Therapeutic communication is very essential in nursing care, which is useful for
obtaining accurate information, fostering good relationships with clients and families and to
Jacilitate the healing process be side the nurses need to consider factors that may affect the
implementation of the communication between the nurse with the client so that
communication can be effectively and optimally so that the goals of nursing can be achieved.

The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that may affect the
implementation of therapeutic communication in the ward class III PKU Muhammadiyah
Hospital in Bantul, Yogyakarta on April 2012.

The type of research uses descriptive. The design non-experimental and cross
sectional approach. The number of population is 22 respondents and using total sampling
technigue. The data collected was using a guestionnaire and analysis was performed using
univariate analysis (descriptive analysis).

The results showed that the caregivers of PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul who choose
Jactors that influence the implementation of therapeutic communication as follows: growth
Jactor (77.386) factor perception (72.740), factor value (10046), emotional factors (63 , 620),
sex factor (68.246) the knowledge factor (10046), the role and relationship factors (72.749),
Ihe distance factor (54.546), factors that are considered sufficient influence in the
implementation of therapeutic communication are environmental factors (5046) factor of
social and cultural background (40.946).

Conclusions in this study were an average of the factors affecting the implementation
of the majority of therapeutic communication therapeutic communication on the ward class
II PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Bantul. Suggestions addressed to the hospital to provide
training about therapeutic communication in nursing actions and provide motivation in the
implementation of therapeutic communication to nurses at the hospital.
