HUBUNGAN ANTARA INTENSITAS RASA SAKIT PADA PENGGUNA ALAT ORTODONTIK CEKAT TERHADAP

The aim of this study is to know the pain intensity which appear from the patient is using fixed orthodontic appliance and look at the relationship between pain intensity on the patient who is using orthodontic appliance towards the frequency of brushing teeth in Asri Medical Center.
This study is using analitic survey. The population of this study is patients who is using fixed orthodontic appliance in AMC. Sample taking is using non random sampling method, more specific is using proportional method. The intensity of pain measured by Visual Analog Sampling, while the frequencies of brushing teeth by quitionare. To know the relationship between pain intesity on the patient who is using fixed orthodontic appliance the data were analyzed with SPSS for Windows Release 20.0.
Result of this study shown that there is no relationship between pain intensity on the patient who is using fixed orthodontic appliance towards the frequencies of brushing teeth in AMC with correlation coefisien value (r) close to -1.
