PENGEMBANGAN APLIKASI PRESENSI MAHASISWA UMY BERBASIS TOKEN

The purpose of this research is to design and to implement attendance system for students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta that can improve the existing process, to complicate the students that cheat in attendance process, and to discipline students based on the lecture administration. This research took place at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. This research used observation and interview as a data collection method. In addition, this research analyzes the system from its architecture, users, lecture session creation, student attendances, and application requirement. After that, the research designs the use case, activity diagram, and the user interface design. Finally, the attandances system is tested using black box testing and real testing methods. Real testing was conducted by involving 172 students. The results of balck box testing and real testing method showed that percentage (%) of application success reached 100% (black box testing) and 94% (real testing). From these results, it can be concluded that the application of online student's attendance system can be used by students to conduct attendances using tokens.
