Abstract
Lately a lot of people who start consuming robusta coffee, in addition to delicious flavor is behind it all Rohusta coffee has some health benefits for our bodies, which can reduce blood glucose levels. The contents of antioxidants and caffeine in coffee increases insulin sensitivity mediated by adrenaline and insulin sensitivity It continues to increase In addition, the content of antioxidants can reduce The harmful effects of free fatty acids.. This research is purely experimental. Research carried out by pre and post test Designed within 14 days. With 15 research subjects of white rats (Rattus norvegicus) male Sprague-Dawley strain, samples were randomly divided into 3 groups, namely the I control and 2 treatment groups, then adapt experimental animals during the week with a simple water and granules are only, gfter that a white rat in puasakan for 8-10 hours and then have blood drawn in alloxan injection, 3 days later his blood once again on the 15th day and blood for last. The results showed that a significant decrease in blood glucose in rats after administration of robusta coffee within 14 days. This is indicated by the results of the treatment group with robusta coffee changes of blood glucose levels significantly (P <0.05). Research results were tested using paired 1-tests and Oneway anova. this research uses a set of computer programs to process data.
