Abstract
Internet of Thing (IoT)-based room security can function to carry out a room security system or room door lock, with IoT-based room security it can make efforts to prevent loss or minimize the occurrence of rampant crime. In this design stage using the Esp 32 CAM microcontroller which can support the room or door security system. The working principle of this system is a security system from a room with a face access method, not only entry access, but homeowners can access remotely, the tool can be used for purposes such as taking pictures. concepts and methods for remote control, monitoring, connected to a network so that it can be accessed anywhere that can facilitate access. The automatic unlocking security system uses methods that can be innovative. One of them is the facial recognition system. Door security system using facial recognition is a modern concept that does not require access control with physical devices. And also can be controlled remotely or called Internet Of Things. At the testing stage, the results of the face detection test, the addition of users, and the login access mode have a 100% success rate. Conditions in the dark, in a tilted right and left sides get failed results. At the testing stage, the delay in adding users takes an average of 2 seconds, the average face detection delay test takes 3 seconds, the average login access mode delay test takes 4 seconds.
