Abstract
Baby scales is a tool used to measure and determine the baby's weight. Baby scales are widely used, namely the measurement results are only displayed on the scale display and without storage so the results must be recorded manually. This sometimes makes it difficult for parents or midwives and nurses and even often loses data. Therefore the author designed a baby scale that is equipped with sending and storing data in a spreadsheet with an android system that can help users and parents to be able to store baby weighing results more safely without fear of loss. This is very useful, especially in a pandemic like this where parents can consult with the midwife about the baby's growth and development by simply sending a spreadsheet file without having to meet. The design of this scale uses a load cell as a weight sensor. The instrument testing was carried out 30 times for each load, namely 1 Kg, 2 Kg, 3 Kg, 4 Kg and 5 Kg. The comparison used for testing is the weight of the known weight. From the results of the tests and measurements, an error value of 5% was obtained for a load of 1 Kg, 2% for a load of 2 Kg, 1,3% for a load of 3 Kg, 1% for a load of 4 Kg, and 0.8% for a load of 5 Kg. So it can be concluded that the results of the scales are good. The results stored in the spreadsheet are also in accordance with those filled in the application display and the load displayed on the scale display. Overall this baby scale can be used properly
