Abstract
This paper aims to analyze the immigration policies implemented by the UK’s Government after Brexit Referendum. European Union is a supranational organization plays an important role in the UK’s economy. After United Kingdom officially became European Union member, United Kingdom had to adopt several European Union policies such as policies towards immigrants. As a country with an advanced level of economy, United Kingdom is became the most favorited destination country for immigrants, especially for those who are looking for a job. The problem of immigrants then continuedly caused an impact to other local problems in United Kingdom. Thus, United Kingdom decided to leave the European Union. The Brexit Referendum then became a momentum for the UK’s government to overhaul UK’s policies towards immigrants to take over control of its territory. Using George R. Terry's decision-making theory, the UK’s government's decision to implementing a new policy towards immigrants are the most rational policies for the UK’s government to be implemented to achieve the UK’s national interest.
