PERAN ORGANISASI KONFERENSI ISLAM (OKI) DALAM MENANGANI KONFLIK ETNIS ROHINGYA DI MYANMAR TAHUN 2017-2019

The discrimination that occurred in the Rohingya ethnic resulted in the Rohingya Ethnic Conflict in Myanmar and in 2012 attracted international attention. This study aims to find out what roles the OIC has played in dealing with the Rohingya conflict in 2017-2019, which previously the OIC had played an active role in 2012. Data collection was carried out using library research techniques, using sources from various literatures in the form of books, scientific journals and through a website on the internet that has a correlation with the research conducted. The results of this study are that the OIC carried out several movements such as the formation of the Campaign Committee and pressures on the Myanmar government; holding meetings and producing resolutions and providing humanitarian aid to Rohingya refugees; sent an OIC-IPHRC delegation to Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh and provided information on the immediate conditions of the Rohingya refugees through a documentary. The roles carried out by the OIC are in accordance with the roles contained in the International Organization Concept.
