Abstract
Covid-19 is a health problem for the world community including Indonesia, the Corona virus is divided into several types, namely Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV) and Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (Mers-Cov). Transmission can occur through contact and droplets through people who are already infected with the corona virus. Symptoms of Covid-19 include fever, fatigue, sore throat and cough. Preventive action needs to be done by washing hands regularly, practicing the etiquette of sneezing and coughing, wearing a mask, keeping a distance. The level of knowledge about covid-19 varies from person to person, the higher the level of knowledge about covid-19, the better prevention efforts can be done. This study aims to determine differences in the level of knowledge about covid19 among health and non-health program students at the Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta. This research used an analytical observational method with a crosssectional design. The sampling technique used in this study was non-random sampling, namely quota sampling, totaling 146 respondents, consisting of 73 health program students and 73 non-health faculty students at the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta according to the research inclusion criteria. The research instrument used a covid-19 knowledge level questionnaire in the form of a google form. Data analysis used mann withney. There is a difference in the level of knowledge about covid-19 among health program students and non-health program students at the Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta, with the significance value on the Mann Withney st results showing (P = 0.000 <0.05). Most health students have high knowledge, as many as 73 respondents (100.0%) and most non-health students have high knowledge, namely 51 respondents (69.9%), moderate knowledge is as many as 7 respondents (9 , 6%) and low knowledge of 15 respondents (20.5%).
