STRATEGI KESANTUNAN IRAI HYOUGEN DALAM SERIAL YASASHII NIHONGO PADA CHANNEL TV NHK

There are many types of Irai Hyougen used by Japanese people. Because there are many types of Irai Hyougen as a student it is sometimes difficult to understand the meaning in Irai Hyougen's sentences that we hear. The researcher intends to examine the irai hyougen strategy and the types of irai hyougen in the irai hyougen strategy used in a Japanese TV series with the title Irai Hyougen Strategy on a Japanese TV channel. The purpose of this study is to find out what types of Irai Hyougen are in the conversation of the Yasashii Nihongo TV series and to find out the strategies of Irai Hyougen in the conversations of the Yasashii Nihongo TV series. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research method with data collection using the corvus data method. The results of the study found 5 types of irai hyougen from 29 sentences. Of the 29 irai hyogen, Meireikei irai hyougen has 13 sentences, Ganbou hyoushutsuteki irai hyougen has 9 sentences, Suikokei irai hyougen has 3 sentences, then Youkyuukei irai hyougen and Enkyokutekina irai hyougen have 2 sentences each. And 4 types of strategies contained in the conversation as many as 29 sentences that the researchers analyzed. Bald-on Record Strategy with 12 sentences, Negative Politeness Strategy with 9 sentences, Positive Politeness Strategy with 7 sentences, and Off-record Politeness Strategy with 1 sentence.
