FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KEBIJAKAN NORMALISASI HUBUNGAN ANTARA UNI EMIRAT ARAB DAN ISRAEL PADA TAHUN 2020

This study discusses the factors that influence the policy of normalizing relations between the United Arab Emirates and Israel in 2020. The purpose of this study is to analyze more deeply what factors encourage the United Arab Emirates to decide to normalize its relations with Israel. From the research that has been done, the author finds that the decision of the United Arab Emirates to normalize relations with Israel are influenced by 3 factors, namely the first Domestic Politics, where there is an encouragement from Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed to build diplomatic relations with Israel, besides that there is support from business groups that have long established cooperative relations with Israel. The second is Economic and Military Conditions, in which the United Arab Emirates needs military cooperation with Israel to balance Iran's power. And the third factor, namely the International Context, which are from the influence of Arab countries that have normalized relations with Israel for a long time, and there is encouragement from the United States which has strategic interests in the Middle East Region.
