Abstract

The sophistication of the internet is increasing every year. In the era of the COVID-19 pandemic, the internet is not only used by individuals, but countries are also trying to launch the internet to achieve their national interests. One of them is China, as we know the origin of the COVID-19 outbreak was detected in this country. Allegations and issues regarding this outbreak were deliberately made by China to make China launch its actions in twitter diplomacy which aims to refute these issues. The diplomacy used by China is related to the concepts of digital diplomacy and public diplomacy. Where China uses digital instruments, namely the internet through Twitter to attract international public attention, improve the country's image, and achieve other national interests.
