Abstract
The rapid development of the world of electronics makes electrical energy a basic need to support people's lives. Along with the high use of electrical energy, the only state electricity supply company in Indonesia, namely PT PLN (Persero) has not been able to meet national electricity needs. As it is know, the abundance of energy resources in the archipelago can be utilized as renewable energy sources such as PLTS, PLTMH and PLTB. However, the quality of the output produced from this renewable plant is unstable and will affect other systems. Therefore, it is necessary to design an inverter component as a voltage conversion so that the renewable generator can be used for household loads. In this study, a single phase pure sine wave inverter with a capacity of 2000 watts was designed using the EGS002 Module as a signal control microcontroller, Voltage Regulator ICs 7805, 7812 and 7815 as voltage regulators, TIP 122 and 127 as amplifier Darlington transistors circuits, H-Bridge MOSFET HY4008 which acts as switching in the circuit and the use of a step-up transformer 0-14 V to 220 V. The test results show that the designed inverter is capable of producing a single-phase pure sine wave with a maximum testable power of 600 watts with an output voltage of 220V which works at a frequency of 50Hz.
