PERAN BIMBINGAN KONSELING ISLAM TERHADAP OPTIMISME HIDUP PENYINTAS KDRT (STUDI PENELITIAN DESKRPTIF KUALITATIF DI BALAI PERLINDUNGAN DAN REHABILITAS SOSIAL WANITA SIDOARUM)

Domestic violence case is an extremely serious problem because it can have a very broad impact to the victims. This research aims to find out the roles of Islamic counseling guidance on the life optimism of domestic violence survivors. The subjects of this research were the counselors and 2 survivors who experienced domestic violence and underwent rehabilitation at Balai Perlindungan dan Rehabilitas Sosial Wanita (the Women's Social Protection and Rehabilitation Center). The findings indicate that Islamic counseling guidance has a very important role in the life optimism process of the domestic violence survivors. The guidance includes: Islamic religious guidance, Islamic spiritual guidance, Quran education and night prayer accompaniment. After given the guidance, it is found that there are changes experienced by the survivors which include: situation selection, changes in behavior and peace of mind. The changes experienced by them indicate that Islamic counseling guidance is able to help the survivors have optimistic attitude in living life.
