KEPENTINGAN EKONOMI POLITIK PEMERINTAH INDIA DALAM PENCABUTAN PASAL 370 TENTANG OTONOMI KHUSUS JAMMU DAN KASHMIR

The Indian government's policy to revoke article 370 regarding the special status of Jammu and Kashmir was officially ratified on October 31, 2019. The revocation of this article is considered the most appropriate step by the government in its efforts to integrate Jammu and Kashmir into the Republic of India, as well as improve the national economy. However, in reality the revocation of this article has received strong rejection from the Kashmiri people who believe that there are other interests in the revocation of the article. This research method is explanatory using qualitative data, while the theory used is Rational Choice. The results of this study state that there are two main objectives of the revocation by Prime Minister Narendra Modi namely; economic interest in Kashmir's that very potential on natural resources and the integration of Jammu and Kashmi
