Abstract
This study aims to analyze, identify and explain the direct influence of transformational leadership on work motivation, direct influence of work motivation on employee performance, direct influence of transformational leadership style on employee performance and the indirect effect of transformational leadership style on employee performance with work motivation. as a mediating variable. This research was conducted on employees of PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk with a total sample of 230 respondents obtained through the questionnaire method. The sampling technique used is the census sampling method based on the criteria of at least one year of management and the sample is an employee. The analytical method used is the regression method which is processed through the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) 26 program. The results of this study indicate that transformational leadership has a significant positive effect on work motivation, work motivation has a significant positive effect on employee performance, transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and work motivation is proven to be a mediating variable on the relationship between transformational leadership and performance. employee.
