Abstract
Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a disease caused by virus dengue which is transmitted by mosquitoes. The development of mosquito vector can be influenced by various factor, one of the factor is temperature. The purpose of this study to find out the relationship between temperature and the incidence of dengue hemorhagic fever in the Yogyakarta's city. This study is analytic obserbational using a crosssectional research design with correlation test analysis. The sample used is total sampling with units of village. The data obtained from the Yogyakarta City Health Office in the form of data on the incidence of dengue in the city of Yogyakarta in 2015 – 2019 while the data obtained from the Gamping Geophysics Station and the Adisucipto Meteorology Station in the form of environmental temperature data which was then carried out by spatial interpolation to obtain temperature data in each urban village in the city of Yogyakarta. Correlation test using Spearman ranget test. The number of dengue cases in Yogyakarta City from March 2015 - December 2019 was 3309 cases and the average temperature was 26.44oC. The results of the research as a whole in the city of Yogyakarta showed no significant results between the two variables with a value of p = 0.056 and r = 0.225 (weak positive correlation). However, the results of the analysis in each village showed a different relationship, as many as 4 kelurahan (8.88%) with a significant relationship and 41 kelurahan (91.12%) with an insignificant relationship. It can be concluded that there is no relationship between temperature and the incidence of dengue hemorrhagic fever in the city of Yogyakarta
