Abstract

The use of effective methods in learning has an influence on student achievement. One method that can support effectiveness in learning is cooperative window shopping. However, in reality, the using of the method in learning at MA Al Mu'min Muhammadiyah Tembarak still seems monotonous so that learning achievement is not yet maximum, especially in fiqh lessons. Therefore, the research aims: 1) To improve student achievement through cooperative window shopping learning methods at MA Al Mu'min Muhammadiyah Temanggung. 2) To analyze the level of effectiveness of using cooperative window shopping learning method for students at MA Al Mu'min Muhammadiyah Temanggung. This study used a quantitative approach of pseudo experimental quasi. The population in this study were students of class XI MA MA Al Mu'min Muhammadiyah Temanggung, totaling 95 students. The research samples were 62 students who were taken by purposive sampling technique. The data collection was conducted through interviews and questionnaires. The data were analyzed descriptively, using categorization, normality test, and paired sample t-test. The results of this study indicate that the value of t count is 4,926> t table 2,010 with a significance of 0,000 <0.05, which means that Ha is accepted. This means that there is effectiveness in the use of cooperative window shopping methods on learning achievement. Meanwhile, the average score of student learning achievement after using window shopping cooperative learning method increases compared to the average score before using window shopping cooperative learning method. This is evidenced by the average score before being treated that is 58.15 < after being given treatment is 71.00.
