Abstract

The number of work accidents in Indonesia is still quite large. This is evidenced by the data on work accidents in 2017 there were 123,041 cases, 300 cases died, in 2018 there was an increase of 147,000 cases or 40,273 cases per day and 2,575 cases died, while in 2019 in January to September cases work accidents decreased by 130,923 cases. So from the data above, it can be concluded that the case of work accidents in Indonesia is a very serious matter. The negative impacts that will arise from work accidents are loss of costs, lives, and time. Therefore, awareness of occupational safety and health is very important to create a healthy, comfortable, and safe work environment for all construction workers. In this study, researchers will identify the risks that will occur in the Pandanan-Candirejo road construction project, Gunungkidul, and will also carry out a risk assessment of work accidents on the project. This study has the aim of being able to analyze the possible risks of work accidents that occur in the workplace at the project construction site. The method used in this research is a direct analysis method by which the researcher will provide a questionnaire related to what risks will occur in the project field. After obtaining data from the field, then the data will be processed using a risk matrix. In this study, the researchers got the results for a risk value of 9.66 as a whole where this value was included in the "Medium Risk" with details of the highest risk figure in road work with a value of 13.75 and the lowest risk value was preparatory work with a value of 6, 04 which in this project has 44 occurrences of 14 activities in which there are 5 stages of work.
