PERSEPSI NGO WWF-INDONESIA TERHADAP ISU LINGKUNGAN PADA PEMBANGUNAN IBUKOTA BARU DI KALIMANTAN TIMUR

This study aims to discuss a major topic of NGO WWF-Indonesia perception on environmental issues in the development of the new capital city in East Kalimantan. Equipped with explanations related to what environmental problems exist in East Kalimantan, and information regarding the relocation of the Indonesian capital which was moved from Jakarta to East Kalimantan. This research will focus the discussion on the perception of NGOs engaged in the environment and nature conservation and how WWFIndonesia advocates for environmental issues in the region. In focusing this research, there is NGO Theory which describes how the WWF-Indonesia NGO movement is in implementing its programs. Then, in the direction of its movement, WWF-Indonesia will conduct a service orientation where later this NGO will provide counseling and campaigns in eradicating environmental issues in East Kalimantan, and WWF-Indonesia also conducts Networking with several other environmental NGOs as well as assistance from various parties. . The research method that the writer uses is a qualitative method through literature study from related literatures. The basis of the research resulted in an answer that, WWF-Indonesia conducted a Service Orientation program by providing counseling and socialization to the Indonesian people. From the WWFIndonesia networking program, WWF-Indonesia collaborated with government agencies, non-governmental organizations, universities and leaders public. programs in the form of “WWF-Indonesia Forest-Species Program” and also “Forest City”.
