Abstract
In January 2017 Donald Trump was officially appointed President of the United States of America replacing Barack Obama. There have been very significant changes during Donald Trump's tenure with the previous president. Changes occurred in the attitude and relationship of the United States towards Muslim immigrant groups entering America, as seen in the implementation of a new policy, namely the Travel Ban, which is known to have caused many pros and cons. This study will discuss the reasons for the United States under the leadership of Donald Trump to implement the Travel Ban policy using the Migration Securitization theory by Philippe Bourbeau. The United States under Donald Trump implemented a Travel Ban policy driven by a determinant factor, namely protecting the United States' national security from the threat of terrorism crimes in countries with a majority Muslin: population.
