Abstract
Covid-19 is a new disease caused by infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus and has been designated a global pandemic by WHO. The large number of cases that were confirmed positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus caused an increase in the death toll. Covid-19 is a new disease so that the therapy given to patients needs consideration to get the best therapy. By therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the pharmacological therapy given to Covid-19 patients and their outcomes. This study aims to determine the success of pharmacological therapy through outcome therapy for Covid-19 patients who are being treated at the dr. Tjitrowardojo Purworejo for the period January–July 2021, based on the 3rd edition of the Covid-19 Management Guidelines. This research is a descriptive non-experimental study with a retrospective study using a cross-sectional design. The data collection of therapy evaluation and outcome in this study was obtained from inpatient medical records of RSUD dr. Tjitrowardojo Purworejo in January – July 2021. This study involved a number of 91 patients from medical record data to obtain a pattern of therapy given to patients which was then analyzed for the accuracy of its use. The results of this study indicate that results evaluation of therapy given to hospitalized Covid-19 patients at dr. Tjitrowardojo Purworejo has 100% correct indication. In administering drugs based on the right dose and accuracy drugs with side effects in Covid-19 patients are 100% correct. The therapeutic outcome for recovered Covid-19 patients with complications is as much as 71,43% (35 cases) and Covid-19 patients who recovered without complications were 85,71% (36 cases).
