Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to test the effectiveness of various biological agency species in controlling the base rot disease in in-vitro and inplanta onions and identifying biological agents that produce the highest base rotten pressure both in-vitro and in-planta . This research was conducted two stages, namely in-vitro and in-planta with a composition of RAL (complete random design). In-vitro antagonist test with factorial experimental design, the first factor is the effect of giving biocontrol microbes and the second factor is the difference in inhibition of two low and medium fusariums. Observed parameters are inhibitory power and attack mechanism. While the antagonist test is inplanted with a single factor experimental design, consisting of four treatments, namely control (fusarium spp. Without biocontrol microbes), Trichoderma sp., Bacillus subtilis., And Paenibacillus polymyxa. Observed parameters are the severity of the disease, the occurrence of disease, root growth, the growth of onion plants, and the growth of tubers. Data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance with α 5% and then continued testing Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) if significantly different. The results of research in-vitro showed a significant difference in the percentage of inhibition with the highest inhibition in Trichoderma sp. In the middleland fusarium of 57,27 %. Whereas in-website shows that the treatment of Paenibacillus polymyxa has a severity emphasis of 58.80% on 42 DAP.
