ANALISIS KELAYAKAN DAN RISIKO USAHATANI CABAI MERAH DENGAN SISTEM IRIGASI SHOWER DAN KABUT DI LAHAN PASIR PANTAI KECAMATAN SANDEN KABUPATEN BANTUL

This study aims to determine the costs, revenue receipts, profits, feasibility, and risks of red chili farming with shower and mist irrigation systems in coastal sandy land, Sanden District, Bantul. Determination of the location in this study was done intentionally (purposive). The research sample was taken using a simple random sampling technique for the shower irrigation system of as many as 60 red chili farmers and a census for the mist irrigation system of as many as 10 red chili farmers. The data taken in this study is the red chili harvest from July - to December 2020. The analysis technique used is income analysis, farming feasibility analysis based on R/C ratio, Labor Productivity, Capital Productivity, risk analysis based on Coefficient of Variation. The results showed that the total cost of red chili production with a shower irrigation system with an area of 2000 m2 was Rp. 19,007,506, revenue was Rp. 43,920,711, and income was Rp. 33,014,482 and profit was Rp. 24,913,205. In red chili farming, the mist irrigation system with a land area of 2000 m2 shows a total production cost of Rp. 15,845,579, an income of Rp. 77,634,014, an income of Rp. 65,233,016 and a profit of Rp. 61,788,435. The R/C value for shower irrigation is 2.31 and fog irrigation is 4.90. The labor productivity of shower irrigation is Rp. 320,269 and mist irrigation of Rp. 1,925,042. The productivity of shower irrigation is 332% and fog irrigation is 502%. The production risk faced by farmers in the shower irrigation system is 0.51 and the mist irrigation is 0.48. The price risk faced by farmers in the shower irrigation system is 0.36 and the mist is 0.19.
