Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the costs, income and profits of environmentally friendly shallot farming based on the growing season in Bantul Regency and to determine the feasibility of environmentally friendly shallot farming based on the growing season. The data used is data for planting season I in April – June 2021 and planting season II in August – October 2020 in Nawungan 1 and Nawungan 2. The research locations are in Nawungan 1 and Nawungan 2 Hamlets, Selopamioro Village with consideration of the largest hamlet that has implemented cultivation. environmentally friendly onions. Determination of the sample of respondents using proportional random sampling technique from two farmer groups with the number of respondents being 30 farmers in Nawungan 1 Hamlet and 36 farmers in Nawungan 2 Hamlet. The results of the analysis on shallot farming. The results showed that: (i) Planting season I had higher average costs, revenues and profits compared to planting season II (ii) Environmentally friendly shallot farming based on the growing season in Bantul Regency. From the overall data analysis, it can be concluded that both farming seasons are feasible but the first planting season is more feasible, judging from the measurement of the feasibility of R/C ratio, capital productivity, labor productivity and land productivity.
