Abstract

The Influence Length Of Playing Computer To The Incidence Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS) and Tension Headache
Abstract
CVS is eyes disorder as consequence using computer so long, continuely, more than two hours in a day. The symptomps CVS are tired eyes, reddish eyes, swollen eyes, waterish eyes, dried eyes, blurred vision, double vision, headache. Tension Headache is pain likes bound (push down) in head that spread up to both of shoulder, caused by strain in face muscle, head, and skin of head. The risk factor of Computer Vision Syndrome and Tension Headache are length of playing computer and ergonomic position. The aim of study to recite influence length of playing computer to increasing risk of incedence vision disorder/ Computer Vision Syndrome and Tension Headache. The observational study with cross sectional and analitic in 45 gamer in the Game Center Studio One dan Mercurry Yogyakarta, data which appropiate with inclusion and exclusion criteria is 30. Chi-Square is used as a statistic test. The result shows that tired eyes (p<0,035), waterish eyes (p<0,028), double vision(p<0,050), reddish eyes (p>0,790), swollen eyes (p>0.375), dried eyes (p>0,788), blurred vision (p>0,085), headache (p>0,061), sharp vision (visus) right and left (p>0,290), sharp vision (visus) right (p>0,352), sharp vision (visus) left (p>0,405) and tension headache (p>0,100) in length of playing computer game. Among length of playing computer game to symptomps like tired eyes, waterish eyes, and double vision there is means influence. But, to symptomps like reddish eyes,swollen eyes, dried eyes, blurred vision, headche, sharp vision (visus) right and left, sharp vision (visus) right, sharp vision (visus) left, and tension headache there isnot means influence.
