IMPLEMENTASI PENINGKATAN KUALITAS KEIMANAN DAN KETAQWAAN SISWA DI SMPN I JETIS PONOROGO DAN DI SMPN I JENANGAN PONOROGO JAWA TIMUR

The development of students faith and pious in school nowadays, just focus on Religion Education subject, so there is deviation of students behavior at school or society, the big question is how the Religion Education. Education of Religion hasn't given a significant contribution to the development of students faith and pious. This rumor happens because the lack of understanding from societies and educator toward the goals of education that has fixed at the rule of Indonesian Law No. 20 in 2003 about National Education System. To overcome this problem, the increase of faith and pious quality for students should get the high stress than before, and to reach the goals so the development of students faith and pious not only monotonous by using Religion Education, but it must be integrative and applying the strategy and completely each other. The goals of this research are to know the method that used by the head masters and teachers at SMPN I Jetis Ponorogo and SMPN I Jenangan Ponorogo to implicate the increasing of faith and pious. This research done at SMPN 1 Jetis Ponorogo and SMPN l Jenangan Ponorogo and the object of research are - head masters, teachers, officers, and student, to get the data, writer used observation and interview. The data was analyzed by qualitative analysis and implementation approach.. The result of research showed that implementation of increasing student faith and pious at SMPN I Jetis Ponorogo have been good enough by applying some integrative methods and completely each other and also have base structure of situation clearly. From the efforts then make a result of behavior changing of students. The changes are the awareness to wearing a muslim dress and finally in the year of academic 2005/2006, all of Students of SMPN I Jetis Ponorogo have been wearing muslim dress. Then the increasing discipline of students and there are many succeed students. Somehow, the implementation of the faith and pious quality of students at SMPN 1 Jenangan Ponorogo have to be increased, because this is done in extracurricular of Religion Education. That is why, the result has not optimal likes the implementation of IMTAQ increasing at SMPN 1 Jetis Ponorogo.
