Abstract

ABSTRAK

PTPN III Kebun Ambalutu merupakan
perusahaan BUMN yang memproduksi Tandan Buah Segar (TBS) kelapa sawit.
Produksi kelapa sawit di PTPN III Kebun Ambalutu mengalami fluktuasi serta
memiliki produktivitas yang rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui
faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi serta mengetahui elastisitas produksi
kelapa sawit. Faktor produksi yang digunakan yaitu luas lahan, jumlah pohon,
tenaga kerja panen, umur tanaman, pupuk dolomite dan pupuk NPK. Metode yang
digunakan yaitu metode purposive, data diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan
pimpinan manajemen kebun serta mengumpulkan data sekunder yang bersifat
time series dan crossection dalam kurun waktu 2012-2016. Hasil analisis faktor-
faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi kelapa sawit di PTPN III Kebun Ambalutu
menunjukkan bahwa tenaga kerja panen, umur tanaman dan pupuk NPK
berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi kelapa sawit di PTPN III Kebun Ambalutu.
Elastisitas produksi variabel jumlah pohon, tenaga kerja panen, umur tanaman dan
pupuk NPK bersifat rasional.
