SERAN GAYA KESEMIMSINAN DALAM MENERA&KAN BUDAYA PATIENT SAFETY DI RSUD. &ROF. DR. SOEKANDAR, MOJOSARI KABU&ATEN MOJOKERTO

The background of the high number of errors to treatment adverse effects on hospital patients. Both events are not expected (KTD) or near misses (KNC) could have been avoided or at least minimized, if the culture of patient safety optimally implemented by all health actors work. The disadvantage of this KTD victims varies from the most mild to life-long disability, sometimes the dead, even including financial losses because patients have to pay more.
The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive. The subjects were medical personnel, the medical and non-medical caregivers who deal directly with patients in hospital Prof. Dr. Soekandar Mojosari Mojokerto much as 176 people. The sampling technique was used purposive random sampling for the unit / installation and sampling convinient to subject people as respondents. Estimator adopted patient safety culture questionnaire from AHRQ while leadership style questionnaire was developed and adopted by the leadership style of indicators Harsey & Blanchard (1982). Data analysis using quantitative descriptive analysis.
The results and conclusions of the study show the following: 1) Implementation of patient safety in hospital Prof. Dr. Soekandar Mojosari Mojokerto in both categories with a percentage of 78%. 2) style of leadership is most widely used by the unit leader is participative leadership style with the average value of 22.1, followed by the value for delegate 20.1, 13.5 and 10.4 for the instructive consultative, 3) the selection of the leadership style also solely based on the situation of the subordinates and the environment in hospitals.
