KADAR GLUKOSA DARAH PADA DIABETES MELLITUS TIPE II SETELAH PEMBERIAN CHLOROPHYLL SYNERGY "

Background: Diabetes mellitus is a degenerative disease that will increase in the amount and almost be found in stratification of society. Use of chemical drugs on diabetes mellitus patient have many side effects. Traditional plants that used on treatment of diabetic mellitus is Medicago sativa (alfalfa). Chlorophyll Synergy® is one of product which formed from Medicago sativa or alfalfa with contain 15 mg. Aims of study: This research aimed to find out the benefit in changing blood glucose and the significant changing the degree of blood glucose after giving of Chlorophyll Synergy('' on diabetes mellitus type II patient. Methods: This research subject is patient of diabetes mellitus type II consist of 20 samples. Every subject become treatment group and control group. The first measuring of blood glucose doing after the subject fasting 8-12 hours. Treatment group is given 25 ml Chlorophyll Synergy which mixed 240 ml aquades wherease on control group is given 240 ml aquades only. After one hour, two of groups are measured the blood glucose again. The data of blood glucose analysis using independent T-test. Result: The result shows that patient with given 25 ml Chlorophyll Synergy® could be decreasing the degree of blood glucose significantly on diabetic patients type II. The average decreasing of blood glucose on treatment group is 33,35 mg/ dl, wherease on control group 12,9 is mg/ dl
