Abstract
In the special case that dentist doing is filling caries with resin composite flowable. There are some factors that force discoloration to teeth and its filling. In earlier research discoloration on filling is caused by kind of drink that consume by patient such as coffee, where coffee contains tanin, color substance that soluble in the water. This research purpose is to know the effect of coffee temperature that consume by patient to discoloration in material filling, resin composite flowable. This research is using experimental laboratory method. Sample that used are five flowable composite resin that formed in 4 mm diameter and 2 mm thick. Before treatment, sample was soak in aquades for one day. Next, 5 sampel were soak on coffee solution with temperature 37° C, 50° C and 70° C in seven days. Result of sample after capture by Spectrophotometer was tested by using one way anava and LSD. The result show that temperature of coffee is influencing discoloration on resin composite flowable. One way anava result show that temperature 37° C, 50° C and 70° C is influencing discoloration resin composite flbwable p<0.05. The temperature that influencing most is 70° C. Result of LSD show that there is significant mean value differences in discoloration on resin composite flowable between every group of temperature.
