Abstract

This study aims to determine the guidance and counseling program include: (1) the diversity of students MAN Wonokromo Bantul, (2) the implementation of guidance and counseling in MAN Wonokromo Bantul, (3) the role of guidance and counseling in improving diversity of students of MAN Wonokromo Bantul. This is a qualitative research with descriptive analytical method. This study was conducted at MAN Wonokromo Bantul. Sources of data in this study are the BK teacher, principal and Islamic religious teacher of MAN Wonokromo Bantul. Data is collected through observation of documents, interviews, and documentation. Data Analysis is done by reducing and presenting data and then it is analyzed qualitatively. The results show that programs of guidance and counseling has been carefully planned according to teaching operational standard (read: SOP) issued by the government through the Ministry of Religious Affairs, but it has not been generally implemented by MAN Wonokromo Bantul. In terms of planning, guidance and counseling program is enough good because there are analysis of guidance and counseling teachers and evaluation of the program the previous year. All of guidance and counseling teachers have data of implementation of working program. Results achieved show that all guidance and counseling teachers of MAN Wonokromo Bantul have academic and educational qualification. From the point of input, guidance and counseling program relating to ability of guidance and counseling teachers in implementing the program and guidance and counseling services are very well. The result of the evaluation of implementation of the program of guidance and counseling services in MAN Wonokromo Bantul is good. The priority of duty of the guidance and counseling teachers' in implementing operational standard is suitable with syllabus and the planning of working programs. The conclusion that can be drawn is that the role of guidance and counseling teachers of MAN Wonokromo in increasing students' religiosity has been successful.
